Experience counts:
Bob began his session career on 25th May 1976 at Festival Studios in Sydney. Reg Lindsay was recording some songs to sit alongside tracks left over from his previous Nashville album. Bob remembers, "...as a teenager I was thrilled when the LP was released and my name was on the cover alongside local session heroes Kirk Lorange, Milton Saunders, Greg Lyon and Doug Gallacher plus Nashville greats like Jerry Shook, Jimmy Capps, Hal Rugg and Bill Walker!"
Bob went on to play on sessions with Frank Ifield, Diana Trask, Sarah Jory (UK), Johnny Chester (Golden Guitar Winner), Allan Caswell (Golden Guitar Winner), Don Spencer (Platinum Seller), Gordon Parsons, Dusty Rankin, Terry Gordon, Greg Champion, Pat Drummond, Keith Glass, Wayne Law, Wayne Horsburgh, Geoff Mack, Donna Boyd, Emma Hannah and many more...
At a 2008 session in Nashville at Sidekick Sound Studios for Travis List, Bob made a cameo appearance on harmonica for Travis's version of I Remember You. When the CD Cloud Eight was released in Australia, Bob's name was on the cover alongside current Nashville studio legends Bryan Sutton, Mark Thornton and Paul Franklin. Some thrills never get old...
